I have bought this to use with my camcorder at night. No light is visible to the human eye but the camera picks it up. Great product. Allows my camcorder to record in the total dark up to around 50 feet away. Works great! Its rechargeable so no AA batteries. Recommend for anyone shooting in the dark or or for "ghost hunters". Exceptional item at a great price
